The Ace We Hold

Story behind it

I created this piece as a simple reflection of Lebanese identity, strong, resilient, and quietly powerful.

The ace stands on its own, while the cedar at its center represents the roots that have carried generations through change, hardship, and renewal.

The words “What if it all works out?” bring another part of that identity into the piece: the hope we continue to hold, even when the future feels uncertain.

It is a reminder that strength is not only in surviving, but in continuing to believe in what can still be.
